Healthy City, what does it mean? Does city as well as living creatures that
can be detected on the health? What kind of a healthy city?Does terminology
healthy city emerged from the health experts?
Definition of healthy cities in Indonesia come from the ministry of health
because their concern the increasing unhealthy people. Of course the
definition should not only physical, but also people who live in it and

This title is the same as a song that singing by Michael Jackson.
I want write this on the day his died and one week after I accompanied my
husband on his graduation on the place that remind me on similar place that
I ever came.
When you come to one place in city, sometimes you feel that your ever come
on that place. Something that you feel familiar, the spaces, the trees, the
buildings, and every elements that you encounter on that place.

metaphora of view phenomenon, a revolutionary change.*
If you see Indonesian cities today, the images are very different with the
cities before 2001, the starting year of decentralization. Some cities
growing very fast because they get “wind fall profit from fiscal transfer”.
In Jakarta, during 10 years of implementation decentralization, we find
many things change. The building of skyscraper can be found everywhere.

Since 1999, based on Government Regulation No. 129/2000 Requirements for
Establishment and Criteria for Division, Dissolution and Merging of
Regions, new autonomous regions have been established ( until 2008) from 26
province to 33 province, 234 district to 399 district, and 59 cities to 98
cities.
Most of the regions are backward regions, high dependency on fiscal

SCOPE OF PLANNING
I want write this after my daughter send me a poem via sms on mother's day,
22 nd December 2008. She got it from her friend.
Planning should consider children, women, old people, disable people. We
all live in the same place, world, city, neighborhood. Did we make a public
service accessible, easy, convenience for them. Did we make a plan to
prevent a crime happen to them?
Planning process should aware their existency and needs, combine with the
environment, social and cultural awareness.

PLANNING FOR YOUNG GENERATION
*(Who are they? Where they come from?Why they go on street? *
*see on:spatial planning of your city, annual plan and budgeting, midterm
planning and long term planning of your local government and central
government. Probably, it is not enough. That's why, we can see the young
generation go on street, that sometimes we called "Gepeng = gelandangan dan
pengemis" ( homeless and begger). *

*As a mother, I worried on my daugther healthy when she was far (Jakarta -
Bandung) from me. **How did she get lunch at school? Is it hygienic
conditions and good for her body? *
I saw several street vendors surround ITB (Institute Technology Bandung)
and of course it was different condition with street vendor at Philadelphia
- University of Pennsylvania, my school at Master Degree. Every street
vendor connected with electric supply.

Tmunyon was sick, before died

*Almost more than two months I left this blog. There were manythings
happened. I was sick for a long time, my cats died, and a hectic at my
office and family. I feel the meaningfull friendship of my cat and suffer
from a loss of them. During that time, I also learn the meaning of a hope,
